Hurley McNare

Hurley McNare’s journey in the entertainment industry has taken him from street performer, to punk rocker, to rock ‘n roll impresario, to filmmaker. After his 1988 documentary brought to life the story of punk-yuppie rock pioneers Ace Bondage & the Briefcases, Hurley next took his journalistic lens to Graceland, where he produced Elvis: D.O.A. (Dead or Alive), an investigation that revealed the truth about the alleged demise of Mr. Presley. And, in 2024, he completed his first feature film, the comedy White Dudes Can’t Rap, with veteran actors Clifton Powell and John Canada Terrell. Mr. McNare’s much ballyhooed relationship with celebrity soccer referee Pablo is currently being documented in the youtube series, Pablo and Hurley.
