Ken Ji, a Shanghai-born photographer, gained his passion for storytelling while growing up in Auckland, New Zealand and Melbourne, Australia. His discovery of Hip Hop culture through Bboying eventually led him to New York in 2016, where he eventually found inspiration amidst the city's vibrant activist artist community during the 2020 protests, igniting his creative spirit. Transitioning from photography to filmmaking with this directorial debut, Ken merges his lifelong love for Hip Hop with his newfound craft, showcasing a unique perspective shaped by his multicultural upbringing and experiences.
