MOUNTAIN LION

Brooklyn Demme began learning filmmaking from his father Jonathan Demme in Childhood. Real Hip Hop was celebrated in his family in part due to the influence of his cousin elder Ted Demme who co-created Yo! MTV Raps. Brooklyn followed his heart into documentary film, using it as a tool of impact for community healing and justice. After humbly exercising the power of film in this manner, he embraced the gift of narrative fiction and had a wonderful experience making Mountain Lion: Healing Film of St. Francis under the leadership of Norris War Turtle Branham who is a council member of the Sandhill Band of Lenape & Cherokee Indians, and a foundational veteran of Hip Hop culture.
