Tramaine Renee is a self-taught filmmaker dedicated to featuring masculine of center, queer women of color as strong leads in her films. She began her career in 2002 as a professional dancer and choreographer before transitioning to filmmaking with her web series "Sunny Reign" in 2013. Moving to New York City in 2015, she worked in the Locations Department on notable projects like Severance, The Crowded Room and John Wick 4. Tramaine is committed to innovative storytelling that breaks stereotypes and highlights underrepresented black queer characters.
